It's Owltime

Heute möchte ich Euch meine Srap & mixed Media Arbeit vorstellen, die ich soeben fertig gestellt habe. Die Eule besteht aus zwei Schichten Papier die mit Ink und Metallicfarben bemalt und mit einigen Mica Flocken, die das schimmernde Gefieder der Eule bilden, bestreut sind. Die Blumen sind aus Stoff und die Zweige aus Cardstock. Beides behandelt mit Ink und Glossy Akzenten.

Dzisiaj chcę wam przedstawić moją Scrap & mixed Media pracę, którą właśnie skończyłam. Sowa składa się z dwóch warstw papieru, które zostały pomalowane metalicznymi farbami i tuszem oraz posypane płatkami Mica, które dodają połysku upierzeniu ptaka. Kwiatki są materiałowe, a gałązki wycęte z papieru. Oba elementy pomalowane są tuszem i akzentami imitującymi szkło.

Have courage and believe...

I decided to participate in a challenge of Mixed Media Place and prepared a canvas. The inspiration came from the fresh and juicy colors of the moodboard and the encouraging quote of Oprah Winfrey "you get in life what you have the courage to ask for".

And here is my interpretation: have courage and perseverance and believe in a better world - there is always hope in our life!

Seitdem ich einige tolle Produkte bei Mixed Media Place erworben habe, bin ich nur noch begeistert und nun auch von dem "Mixed Media Virus" infiziert. Zum Glück hat das ganz keine negativen Nebenwirkungen, aber Achtung - eine weitere Infektion ist nicht ausgeschlossen ;-) Hier mein Update für die MMP Challange "be a light moodboard" und quasi auf die letzte Minute meine neuste Arbeit:

Od czasu nabycia kilku wspaniałych produktów w Mixed Media Place jestem poprostu zachwycona i od tego momentu także zarażona "wirusem Mixed Media". Całe szczęście, że nie ma to wszystko negatywnych działań ubocznych, ale uwaga - dalsze zarażenie nie jest wykluczone ;-) Tutaj moja aktualizacja na MMP challange "be a light moodboard" i quasi na ostatnią minute moja najnowsza praca:

My first mixed media work

An diesem Wochenende habe ich zum ersten Mal "mixed media" ausprobiert und ich muss schon sagen, dass ich unendlich viel Spaß dabei hatte! Ich werde diese Stilrichtung in meinem Portfolio aufnehmen, da ich darin grenzenlose Möglichkeiten sehe, sich mit der eigenen Kreativität auszutoben. Es war eigentlich ein Experiment und ich habe die dafür notwendigen Materialien überwiegend in Basic-Sets zum Ausprobieren erworben. Diese werden aber voraussichtlich schon sehr bald alle aufgebraucht :-) Aber bevor ich in die Zukunft blicke, hier das Ergebnis meiner gestrigen Arbeit.

W ten weekend pierwszy raz wypóbowałam "mixed media" no i musze sie przyznać, że odczułam przy tym nieograniczoną satysfakcję! Z tego powodu napewno wprowadzę ten styl do mojego portfolio, bo widzę w tym kierunku bezgraniczne możliwości wyszalenia się ze swoją własną kreatywnością. Właściwie to był eksperyment, dlatego nabyłam potrzebne materiały przeważająco w basic-setach do wypróbowania, które napewno będą już wkrótce wszystkie zużyte :-) Ale zanim zacznę spoglądać w przyszłość, tu rezultat mojej wczorajszej pracy.

Summer Vacation

Yearningly looking forward to my vacation this month, I created a layout in memory of the holiday on Canarien Island a few years ago. The photo used in this LO was taken by me in a small fisherman's village on Lanzarote. The next such photo I'm going to take will be from Fisherman's Wharf at Pier 39 in SFO! So watch out for that project to come in a few weeks...

"Home is where my heart is"

Nach ein paar Tagen außer Haus und der heutigen Rückkehr muss ich sehr stark an den Song von Barbara Dannerlein "Home is where my heart is" denken... Meine Freude ist groß nach vielen Erlebnissen endlich wieder in meiner sicheren Umgebung und den eigenen vier Wänden zu sein, so dass ich dem Thema sogar meine Karte widme.

Po paru dniach spędzonych poza domem i dzisiejszym powrocie myślałam dużo o słowach piosenki Barbary Donnerlein "Home is where my heart is"... Moja radość jest ogromna po wielu przeżyciach w końcu wrócić do bezpiecznego otoczenia i własnych czterech ścian, tak że poświęcam temu tematowi nawet moją najnowszą kartkę.
