vintage dark dream memories

Sometimes I'm very glad, that dreams don't always come true... same as yesterday, sept 13th. It was a horrible night and I really don't know why. I only remember a few blurry scenes and the darkness... a little bit crazy and frightening. I tryed to perpetuate this on the canvas and I hope that you and me, we will sleep well tonight ;-)

happy, happy, happy...

The inspiration to make a mixed media canvas about the magical time and memories to my childhood came from Mixed Media Place. And no, this isn't my photo ;-) This is only a symbolic picture in commemoration of the lovely moments spent together with my three years older brother... as there is nothing better like to explore and discover the world with siblings! The azure and rose bubbles stand for our carefree and halcyon days. Maybe, you like it too :-)

"Dare To Be Daring"

Als ich die neuste 13@rts Challenge "Dare to be daring" gesehen habe, habe ich mich sofort angesprochen gefühlt! Warum? Weil ich seit wenigen Wochen mutig in die Welt von Mixed Media eingetaucht bin und so wie es ausschaut, dort nicht wieder freiwillig rauskommen werde ;-) Ich liebe es mit den Strukturen, Farben und Techniken zu jonglieren, um solche verrückte Ideen zu verwirklichen, wie die untere Arbeit von mir.

Jak tylko zobaczyłam najnowsze wyzwanie 13@arts "Odważ się odważyć" od razu zrobiło to na mnie wrażenie. Dlaczego? Ponieważ od paru tygodni zanurzyłam się z dużą odwagą w świecie Mixed Media i wygląda na to, że się stamtąd dobrowolnie tak szybko nie wyłonię ;-) Kocham tą żonglerkę ze strukturami, farbami i technikami, aby zrealizować niecodzienne pomysły, jak na przykład moją poniższą pracę.

It's Owltime

Heute möchte ich Euch meine Srap & mixed Media Arbeit vorstellen, die ich soeben fertig gestellt habe. Die Eule besteht aus zwei Schichten Papier die mit Ink und Metallicfarben bemalt und mit einigen Mica Flocken, die das schimmernde Gefieder der Eule bilden, bestreut sind. Die Blumen sind aus Stoff und die Zweige aus Cardstock. Beides behandelt mit Ink und Glossy Akzenten.

Dzisiaj chcę wam przedstawić moją Scrap & mixed Media pracę, którą właśnie skończyłam. Sowa składa się z dwóch warstw papieru, które zostały pomalowane metalicznymi farbami i tuszem oraz posypane płatkami Mica, które dodają połysku upierzeniu ptaka. Kwiatki są materiałowe, a gałązki wycęte z papieru. Oba elementy pomalowane są tuszem i akzentami imitującymi szkło.

Have courage and believe...

I decided to participate in a challenge of Mixed Media Place and prepared a canvas. The inspiration came from the fresh and juicy colors of the moodboard and the encouraging quote of Oprah Winfrey "you get in life what you have the courage to ask for".

And here is my interpretation: have courage and perseverance and believe in a better world - there is always hope in our life!

Verrückte Komposition in LieblingsfarbenZwariowana kompozycja w ulubionych kolorach

Was?

Hier mein neustes Werk - eine mit Augenzwinkern zu betrachtende Mischung aus Retro und etwas Steampunk mit vielen Schichten, unter dem Einsatz diverser Medien und in meinen Lieblingsfarben. Bei der fantasievollen Story bringt eine Dynamit-Explosion einige Zahnräder in den Schwung und katapultiert dabei ein fettes Schweinchen in die Luft, das leicht wie eine Feder und ohne Gleichgewichtsverlust zu fliegen beginnt. Es ist meine Interpretation und Metapher des Zitats von Einstein "Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance you must keep moving".

Tutaj moja najnowsza praca - do potraktowania z przymrużeniem oka mieszanka retro i troche steampunk na licznych warstwach, przy użyciu różnorodnych mediów oraz w moich ulubionych kolorach. Ta pełna fantazji historia przedstawia dynamit, który explodując poruszył zębate koła i jednocześnie wykatapultował grubą świnke w powietrze, która lekka jak piórko i bez utraty równowagi zaczyna fruwać. To moja interpretacja i metafora cytatu Einsteina "Życie jest jak jazda na rowerze. Żeby utrzymać równowagę musisz się poruszać naprzód". 

Warum?

Wir haben alle manchmal Phasen im Leben in den wir das Gefühl haben, dass wir nicht ausreichend nach vorne kommen... Das Karte soll zeigen, dass im Leben "eigentlich" alles möglich ist, wenn wir nur daran glauben - "she belive, she could, so she did". Wir dürfen bloß nicht stehen bleiben, sondern sollten immer für die notwendigen Impulse sorgen, die uns dabei helfen in Bewegung zu bleiben und dabei die Balance zu behalten. Das Lachen soll natürlich nicht auf der Strecke bleiben ;-)

Dlaczego?

My wszyscy mamy czasem fazy w życiu, w których mamy uczucie, że nie poruszamy się wystarczyjąco na przód... Ta kartka ma pokazać, że w życiu tak naprawdę wszystko jest możliwe, jeśli my w to wierzymy - "she belive, she could, so she did". Nie możemy tylko pozwolić na zatrzymanie się, lecz musimy zadbać o uyzskanie potrzebnzch impulsów, które pomogą nam pozostać w ruchu i utrzymać przy tym równowagę. Oczywiście nie zapominając o uśmiechu na codzień ;-)
